BRANDY

Brandy was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she completed her Associate of Applied Science Degree with a focus in Culinary Arts in 2008. She worked her way up to an Executive Chef position which was one of her most rewarding careers. Brandy loves to explore food from different cultures and continue learning the latest new trends in the culinary world by attending tradeshows. Brandy is always up for food conversations, teaching someone how to cook or bake, and share her food passion with others. In later years Brandy taught herself cake decorating taking her baking skills up to the next level and expresses her artistic side in all of her custom cakes. She also holds a certificate from the American Culinary Federation for completing 'Working Pastry Chef' in 2021. Chef Brandy wants to inspire others like herself to break the barriers for Deaf and HOH people and bring awareness to her community. Chef Brandy is constantly striving for excellence because growing up she faced many challenging situations, had people doubting her capabilities just for being hard of hearing. Her life experiences made her work harder and have a "no limits" mindset. She believes that she can succeed in life regardless of who she is and shows compassion through her cakes in her community.
